| Douglas
County Sports Medicine provides certified athletic trainers to nine
high schools in west central Minnesota.
The athletic trainers work
as clinic outreach providers. This model allows for the best
utilization of the athletic trainers' expertise.
The athletic
trainer provides services in the clinic during the morning hours,
and during the afternoon and evening the athletic trainer provides
care at the assigned high school.
