Jen Miller graduated in 2005 from Minnesota State University Moorhead after which she obtained her board certification as an athletic trainer (A.T.C.). She provided athletic training services consisting of injury evaluation, rehabilitation, prevention, and emergency field care. She continued her education at North Dakota State University earning a Master’s degree in Health, Nutrition & Exercise Science while performing her Graduate Assistantship at Concordia College in Moorhead. She had the unique experience of traveling with the Cobber football team to Portland, OR while they competed in the NCAA Division III national tournament. training services for high school football, hockey, and track events in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and youth hockey tournaments from Pee-wee to Bantam levels. Jen’s post graduate work includes extensive research in neuromuscular imbalances in females and its relationship with increased ACL tears. In 2007, Jen joined our staff providing athletic training services for Osakis High School. She excels in injury evaluation, rehabilitation, and prevention. Jen works directly with the athletes providing pre-practice/game preparation, evaluating injuries, referring to area physicians, and communicating with coaches, athletes, parents, and administration. With her knowledge in musculoskeletal injuries (both acute and chronic), wellness, accelerated recovery, and prevention, she can return injured athletes to the playing field in a timely, yet safe fashion.
